Brave New Art World
The Brave New Art World is an arts unification movement, which focuses on “Art for the People”. The idea is to cultivate public interest and create and expand awareness of the different forms of art in Chicago. It features an Open House, on the first Thursday of every month in the River North gallery district [5-8pm], with art crawl encompassing critical talks, performance art, guerrilla installations and exhibitions, live music and local food and beverages.
I attended the Third Open House, on August 1, 2013.
It was a fun evening, with gallery crawl, good food and wine and loved watching the artists paint. There is nothing like watching the process of art being made.. I encourage people to enter Open House of the Brave New Art World, in their calendar.
