Selfie with Flower series: Amaryllis “Red Lion”.

Tracking its growth from December 31, 2015 – Jan 11, 2016.

In my nearly one year of “Selfie with Flower” series [click here..],  this series – with Amaryllis – is perhaps my favorite.  I tracked the growth of this flower for 12 days, from bud-stage to full bloom. For these 12 days, every morning when I woke up, I would run downstairs to see how much it had grown overnight, and it never failed to impress with with its beauty. For these 12 days, I would get ready every single day, just to pose with the flower. I would talk to the flower, and thank it for looking so gorgeous and for delighting me everyday for its beauty, grace and charm.

The best set of photos/ selfies came on Jan 11, 2016… I think everything worked out perfectly that day. The flower was in full bloom, the light was optimal, and, most importantly I was absolutely relaxed, as it was my day-off, and I had no time constraints. Here are some more from that day..
