Veterans Gateway Park at Schaumburg Town Square

Dedicated November 11, 2005.

Village of Schaumburg’s 1% for Art Program

The Schaumburg Town Square was rejuvenated in 1997, and in 2005, this memorial park was added.

The Veterans Gateway Park is dedicated to the men and women who have selflessly served our country in any branch of the United States military. The gardens, flag poles and seating areas encircling the clock tower create a unique space devoted to our war veterans. The park also functions as a gateway to Town Square and serves as a physical symbol of Schaumburg’s respect for veterans.

The Veterans Gateway Park Commemorative Memorial Brick Program: It provides a special opportunity to show support of our nation’s veterans and create a personal, permanent memorial honoring a family member, friend or loved one. The laser-engraved bricks are available in 4″ x 8″ or 8″ x 8″ size. The 8″ x 8″ bricks can include emblems of the branch in which the honoree served as an option.
