Project Onward Team
About Project Onward [From the official website of Project Onward click here.. ]
Project Onward is a studio and gallery dedicated to the career development of artists with mental and developmental disabilities. Located in the historic Chicago Cultural Center, Project Onward provides workspace, art materials, professional guidance, and opportunities for exhibition and sales to artists who have exceptional talents but face challenges ranging from autism to mental illness. Both in our on-site gallery and at outside venues, exhibitions offer Project Onward artists the chance to accomplish important professional and personal goals: earning income, feeling pride in their work, and achieving inclusion within the larger community. For the public, interaction with the art and artists of Project Onward fosters awareness of disability issues and an appreciation of the visionary talents of people with special needs.
