Before Chicago, it was installed in New York City, at the intersection of Park Avenue and 53rd Street. In NYC, placed among the skyscrapers, it looked like a person gazing or is perhaps lost in the midst of the high rise skyscrapers. But in Chicago, it is placed in an open space along the lake. Here it assumes a very different character. It looks like a person is in a meditative state, gazing to the sky with open hands, and getting nourished from the energy that the surrounding nature provides.
Even I laid down on the grass, stared at open sky and soaked in energy from nature!
Even I laid down on the grass, stared at open sky and soaked in enery from nature!
